Recently, any rules regarding the veil you're supposed have fluttered out the window. Whatever plans exist are merely a matter of taste and your sense style.

Learning the Lengths

• Net Pouf or Bird Cage: Prepared of either tulle or netting, this veil falls above the shoulder line. As it’s shorter, it tends to look structured. In fact, it’s more a mixture of headpiece and veil.
• Elbow: Extends to the elbow or some inches below.
• Chapel: Extends about two feet beyond the hemline.
• Flyaway or Blusher: Classically, you wear this veil over the face during the ceremony. Though considered casual, this is the veil of preference for some chic, formally-gowned brides.
